2. Young Sheldon
The popular TV show, The Big Bang Theory, gave us the character of genius theoretical physicist — Dr. Sheldon Cooper. Young Sheldon is a prequel to The Big Bang theory where we get to see Sheldon’s childhood in East Texas. Jim Parson, who plays the role of Dr. Cooper in The Big Bang Theory, narrates the home and school lives of his 9-year-old avatar. Young Sheldon is all about how a gifted and somewhat-naive Sheldon deals with the world that is not ready for him. Iain Armitage, who plays the young Sheldon, does an amazing job of getting the nuances of Dr. Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory. Give Young Sheldon a view and you will not be disappointed.
3. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
I recently came across this series and boy am I hooked! Placed in the 1958-New York, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is about a Jewish housewife, who turns into a stand-up comedian after her husband, an amateur comedian, abandons her. From the moment the show starts, Rachel Brosnahan, who plays Miriam “Midge” Maisel, does an excellent job of captivating you with her charm and brilliant acting. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is written and directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino, who also directed Gilmore Girls. This show is an utter delight to watch. Don’t miss it!

5. Going Viral Pvt. Ltd.
Going Viral Pvt. Ltd. is a web series written and directed by Anuvab Pal and stars Kunal Roy Kapur, Kubra Sait, and Prabal Punjabi among others. The series is about what it takes to for a company to create viral content for the social media. It highlights the nitty-gritty of how a hashtag becomes trending and a boring video goes viral. The 30-minute-long episodes are funny and some of the writing is quite witty. I personally like how the show adopts the fake camera technique where the actors look directly into the camera. We have already seen this format on popular TV shows like Modern Family and the British and American comedy The Office. Kunal Roy Kapoor steals the show as the quirky boss. There are a few instances where the show becomes a bit loud and goes overboard. Still, it manages to crack you up with witty humor.
