But lately Facebook has refined the tagging feature, and you can now review all the tags before they appear on your timeline. So let’s see how it’s done.
Review Facebook Tags
Open your Facebook account and click on the small arrow near the home button at the top right corner to open your account’s privacy settings. Here, you can control almost all the privacy aspects related to your account and if you have not yet reviewed every notch and corner in here, you must do it at the earliest. Coming back to the point, click on the link Edit Settings next to the Timeline and Tagging option. Here you can control as to what will happen when your friends tag you or your content, or post on your timeline. On the popup frame, click the section that reads Review posts friends tag you in before they appear in your timeline. Enable it and next time whenever someone tags you in a photo or updates, you will have the power to review them before they show up in your timeline. Note: You can still be tagged, and tags may appear elsewhere on Facebook.
