The add-on isn’t complicated. Once installed, it shows up as a small icon in the Chrome extensions bar. If you click on it, it pops up a small Google search box that helps you search YouTube.
If you look carefully at the above screenshot, you’ll see that there is a link to upload your video. That means, you can upload a video to YouTube directly by following that link. The search results page, that comes up when you search for a video using some keywords, isn’t the traditional page with video titles and descriptions. Instead, it is a page showing only the top video previews for that query, and is neatly organized in the small space. The video starts playing in a larger screen, and also has other video thumbnails arranged below it in case you want to switch to a different video.
That’s all the extension does. Simple and easy to use. So why would you need it ? If you spend more and more time on YouTube everyday and are usually lost there watching one video after another, then this add-on could help you get back to work easily, since it doesn’t require you to go to the main site where the content is more tempting.
